Another busy weekend this week with the fishing still quite slow in the bright conditions. The fish are still feeding on the surface but are still not taking the biscuits confidently, but it is only April!!! The fish are moving around the lake with the wind, with the fish showing at the begining of the week in front of the top single hut. But with the wind swinging around, there were alot of fish lunking in the margins in front of Martin's hut this weekend.

Howard Chalk fished a few hours on Thurday in Heavens Corner taking three fish off the surface.

Dale fished the weekend in front of Martins Hut landing one small fish whilst Brettt fished the top single hut and had 3 fish including a 23lb common and a few bream!!!

Mark fished Saturday in front of the fallen tree and landed a 17lb simmo.

Dave fished the 83 yarder for the weekend landed 4 fish and Gareth Hughes jumped along side him for a day session on Sunday landing this 23lb mirror.

Don't forget its the first qualifier on Friday so the lake will be shut from 12 oclock Wednesday to 2 on Sunday. Thurday night there will be a pre-match BBQ for all people entering any of the qualifiers at the The Birch.

Let the best team win!!!

Do you know the actual weight of the common in Howard's pic, I've had her a couple of times, best 22lb 8oz, has she put on any weight?
